Executive Summary

The Bharat Project owns the mission. Blend owns the infrastructure.

The Bharat Project has set the most ambitious creative and entrepreneurial mandate in modern India: 10 lakh entrepreneurs, 10,000 scalable startups, anchored in Bharat. The mandate is real. What it now needs is execution infrastructure — the rails that turn ideas into businesses, fellows into founders, and stories into sustainable creative enterprises.

Blend is that infrastructure. Three engines, one platform, already live: Blend Crew trains paid creator-cohorts as professional production teams; Creator Hub is the operating system that runs the entire pipeline from brief to delivery; BlendHack is the discovery engine that surfaces creative talent on campus.

Layered on top is the live community fabric — Blend Meetups, The Blended Show, Blend Bazaar, and themed festivals — the in-real-life surface where culture happens, founders are discovered, and audiences are built.

Part One — Vision
01 — THE VISION

India built rails
for startups.

The next decade
belongs to rails for
creativity.

blend×Part 01 · Vision04 / 37
Where we are headed

A $100B creative economy by 2030. The pieces are in place.

$100B
India creative economy by 2030

A market that did not exist as a category five years ago.

2M
Skilled jobs needed in AVGC

Animation, VFX, gaming and comics — official priority sectors.

₹250cr
Allocated for Content Creator Labs

Union Budget 2026‑27. 15,000 schools, 500 colleges in scope.

15.5K
Schools and colleges to activate

The execution partner has not yet been chosen.

Infrastructure is not a building or a budget. It is what happens every day, in every district, when a 19‑year‑old in Patna or Coimbatore finds, on her phone, the training, the brief, the team, the brand, the stipend, the certification, the audience, and the path to becoming an entrepreneur. That is what we are building together.

blend×Part 01 · Vision05 / 37
The 2030 picture

Four outcomes. co-built.

1M
Creator-entrepreneurs

A national network of trained, certified, paid creators operating as professional production teams across 100+ campuses and 50+ cities. Every node a job creator, not just a job seeker.

10K
Creative ventures

Studios, brands, IPs, communities, and creator‑led businesses incubated through the Blend × Bharat Project ecosystem. Funded by the Bharat Project Fund, brand retainers, government CSR, and creator commerce.

1
National operating system

Creator Hub running the pipeline — from a Tier‑3 fellow's first project to a brand's national campaign. AI‑matched, vernacular‑native, government‑integrated, brand‑funded.

365
Year‑round cultural economy

Quarterly Creative Economy Summits. Annual India Creative Entrepreneurship Convention. Always‑on community across gaming, film, music, anime, fashion and design — India's answer to SXSW, Cannes and ComplexCon, rooted in Bharat.

blend×Part 01 · Vision06 / 37
Why this vision is now possible

Three forces are converging — and the window won't stay open.

FORCE 01
Policy
has caught up.

WAVES, IICT, Content Creator Labs and the Orange Economy framing have moved creative work from informal sector to national priority. Software, infrastructure and capital partners are chosen — but not the community, curriculum and creator‑entrepreneurship layer. That door is open right now.

FORCE 02
AI is reshaping
creative work.

Tools have collapsed. Skills are now distributed. What separates a creator from a creator‑entrepreneur is no longer software — it is brand, audience, business literacy, IP development, and access to capital. Exactly what this partnership teaches.

FORCE 03
India's culture
is exporting.

Indian gaming, music, internet culture, design, films and creator brands are rising globally. There is no unified ecosystem to channel that momentum. We can build it — or we can watch it scatter into informal, sub‑scale activity. There is no third option.

blend×Part 01 · Vision07 / 37
Part Two — Story
02 — THE STORY

Two missions.

One collision course.

How YourStory built reach without rails — and Blend built rails without reach.

blend×Part 02 · Story08 / 37
Two missions, one destination

Started from opposite ends. Arrived at the same place.

Since 2008
YourStory

Two years on the ground across Bharat made it clear: founders in Tier‑2 and Tier‑3 cities don't lack ambition — they lack access.

The Bharat Project. Six programmes. Five state governments. MOUs with DPIIT, MeitY, AICTE. An OTT series. A WhatsApp AI co‑pilot. A fellowship. A hackathon. A flagship festival in Bihar.

10 lakh entrepreneurs from Bharat.

×
Since 2024
Blend

A creative collective that grew into a creative entrepreneurship ecosystem — eight tracks, a five‑stage pipeline, three working engines.

Cohort 01 is live. 140+ pieces of content in three months with zero budget. 12% engagement against an industry average of 2–3%. Real brand work. Validated at GAFX 2026.

From "I have an idea" to "I have a business."

blend×Part 02 · Story09 / 37
Where the two stories converge

Reach meets Rails.

Bharat Project today
Reach without rails.

Six programmes, all valuable, but each operating as a separate initiative. Bharat Fellowship trains researchers at 6–8 hrs/wk. The Idea Bank holds problem statements but has no execution layer. IdeaSparks is a hackathon without a creative track. BharatSparks is an event without an embedded media team. Shuru‑kar is a docuseries without an always‑on social engine.

Each one is good. None of them is yet a system.

Blend today
Rails without reach.

Creator Hub is a working platform. Blend Crew is a tested cohort model. BlendHack has a proven format. But Blend is one company in one city building toward a national vision.

To scale to Bharat — Tier‑2, Tier‑3, vernacular, government‑aligned — Blend needs the brand, the editorial reach, the certification authority and the policy access only YourStory and the Bharat Project have.

Put the three together and you don't have a partnership — you have India's creative entrepreneurship operating system.

blend×Part 02 · Story10 / 37
Why no one else can build this

Most ecosystems own one layer. This partnership owns all of them.

Player What they have What they are missing
Media companies (incl. YourStory alone) Reach, editorial, credibility Community, infrastructure, creator pipeline
Festivals (GAFX, Comic Con) Audience, energy, IP Year‑round continuity, training, monetisation
EdTech players Curriculum, scale, certification Culture, community, brand pull, real projects
Government (IICT, WAVES) Mandate, capital, infrastructure Cool factor, creator access, agility
Creator agencies Brand relationships, deal flow Infrastructure, training pipeline, community
Blend × YourStory × Bharat Project All of the above — fused. Nothing — this is the only complete stack.
blend×Part 02 · Story11 / 37
Part Three — Alignment
03 — THE ALIGNMENT

Don't invent.
Map. Fuse. Run.

Six programmes. Three engines. One six‑engine pipeline.

blend×Part 03 · Alignment12 / 37
Programme-by-programme mapping

Each Bharat Project initiative gets a Blend infrastructure layer.

Bharat Project programme What it does today What Blend adds
Shuru‑kar
OTT series
7‑part docuseries on Bharat entrepreneurs. Blend Crew cohorts produce companion social content, reels, vernacular cuts, BTS — turning a 7‑episode docuseries into a 700‑piece year‑round content engine.
Shuru‑kar AI
WhatsApp co‑pilot
AI‑generated pitch deck from a founder's voice or text input. Creator Hub becomes the next layer — once the AI generates the pitch, the founder is matched to a creator team for branding, content, and launch.
Idea Bank Repository of startup‑ready problem statements from government and PSUs. Becomes the live brief library inside BlendHack — 10,000 government problems become hackathon prompts with creative execution.
IdeaSparks National hackathon for top 1,000 ideas. BlendHack powers the creative track — every winning idea gets a brand, pitch deck, launch video — built in 48 hours by Blend cohorts.
BharatSparks Event Heartland event series in Tier‑2/3 cities. Blend Crew embedded as the on‑ground content team. Creator Hub is the live brand‑creator marketplace. Tessarakt powers the event tech.
Bharat Fellowship Student researchers, 6–8 hrs/wk, ₹0–7K stipend. Becomes the Bharat Creator Fellowship — paid creator‑entrepreneurs at ₹15K/month, certified by YourStory, running on Creator Hub.
blend×Part 03 · Alignment13 / 37
The biggest single move

Convert the Bharat Fellowship into the Bharat Creator Fellowship.

Run it on Creator Hub. Deploy it as a paid creator‑entrepreneur pipeline. The Bharat Project suddenly has a workforce, not just an audience.

Today
Bharat Fellowship
  • 3 stages — Explorer / Fellow / Core Fellow
  • Stipend — ₹0 → ₹5,000 → ₹7,000 / month
  • Time — 6–8 hours per week
  • Output — User testing, social content, founder stories, hub mapping
  • Outcome — Certificate + portfolio. Not yet a creator. Not yet an entrepreneur.
Tomorrow
Bharat Creator Fellowship
  • 5 stages — Discover / Train / Apprentice / EIR / Founder
  • Stipend — ₹15,000 / month from apprentice stage
  • Time — Professional engagement, project‑driven
  • Output — Real brand campaigns, government CSR briefs, Bharat Project content engine
  • Outcome — Certified creator‑entrepreneur, equity‑eligible (CSOPs), pipeline to founder
blend×Part 03 · Alignment14 / 37
How it runs

Five stages from campus to founder.

STAGE 01
Discover

BlendHack on campus surfaces the talent. Fellows apply through the existing Google Form — but the funnel now feeds a paid pipeline.

STAGE 02
Train

Creator Hub delivers the curriculum. Eight tracks, four direct AVGC plays — Gaming & Tech, Film & TV, Art & Design, Media & Content.

STAGE 03
Apprentice

Matched to real briefs from brands, government CSR partners and Bharat Project state activations. ₹15K/month, certification, mentorship.

STAGE 04
EIR

Top fellows become Entrepreneurs‑in‑Residence — leading their own micro‑cohorts and earning revenue share.

STAGE 05
Founder

Graduates launch creator businesses — Bharat Project Fund and Creator18 (Angad Bhatia) as natural capital partners.

Discover → Train → Apprentice → EIR → Founder.

Blend's Live Layer

Movements are built in person before they are built on platforms.

The Bharat Project is fundamentally a movement. Three live formats run year‑round: Blend Meetups (the entry point), The Blended Show (cohort graduation), and Blend Bazaar + themed festivals (the public showcase). Each one is an answer to a different question Bharat has been asking.

Industry · Academy · Government — the three already-built rails

ABAI, the AVGC-XR mandate, and IICT are already pointing at this. We become their execution layer.

Industry body
ABAI
Association of Bangalore Animation Industry · GAFX hosts

What they bring: 200+ AVGC studio members, mentor pool, GAFX as the annual industry stage, hiring pipeline for animation, gaming, VFX.

How they plug in:

  • Anchor partner for the Karnataka Bharat Crew — studios sponsor cohorts, take graduates as paid interns.
  • BlendHack judging panel + GAFX-co-presented creative track.
  • Studio mentors on Creator Hub for the AVGC tracks of the Fellowship.
State + national policy
AVGC-XR
National Task Force · State policies (KA, MH, TN, TG)

What it brings: Policy mandate, state subsidies, recognised certification, ₹250 Cr Content Creator Labs allocation, AVGC-XR clusters in five states.

How it plugs in:

  • Bharat Creator Fellowship recognised as an AVGC-XR aligned skilling pathway — credit transfer, stipend co-funding.
  • Blend's 8-track curriculum mapped to the AVGC-XR job-role framework (NCVET-aligned).
  • State activations (Karnataka, Maharashtra) become co-branded AVGC-XR × Bharat Crew launches.
Anchor institution
IICT
Indian Institute of Creative Technology · MIB · Mumbai

What it brings: India's flagship AVGC institute, ₹400 Cr capex, NEP 2020 alignment, Content Creator Labs across 15,000 schools and 500 colleges.

How it plugs in:

  • Joint curriculum & rollout partnership for the CCL programme — Blend's framework, YourStory's certification, Tessarakt's lab design.
  • Train-the-Trainer module — IICT has 15 trained teachers; Blend supplies the bench at scale.
  • IICT alumni feed straight into Bharat Crew cohorts and the Bharat Project Fund pipeline.
The stack, end to end

ABAI brings the studios. AVGC-XR brings the policy and the certification. IICT brings the institute and the school-level reach. Blend × YourStory × Tessarakt become the connective tissue — the cohort engine, the certification rail, the events layer — that makes all three deliver against the 10 lakh entrepreneurs mandate.
